Born in Naples in 1983 and grew up in L'Aquila. Even as a child developed a passion for old American musicals and began to study singing at the age of eight years. At sixteen began to specialize in jazz, studying modern singing, jazz improvisation and vocal black-American. Then arrives to classical music, earning his studies at the conservatory of L'Aquila. She expanded her experiences in the theater, collaborating with Michele Placido, and Catherine Vertova debut starring in the musical "Jekyll and Hyde" by turning the whole peninsula in the most prestigious Italian theaters. In 2007 he started a recording project with his producer Charles Avarello for the realization of his first album, an ambitious project based on the fusion between jazz and pop music, through the search for a metric that will distinguish literary Simona in the musicality of his lyrics. He started performing in the early reviews, the reputation grew and in the summer of 2008, she was invited to Canada for a tour with his band: applause in Toronto, Montreal and all the theaters that have hosted. In the same year the song was chosen by Gianmarco Mazzi Egocentric and Paul Bonolis, and arrives at the 59 th edition of the Sanremo Festival in the "2009 proposals". Simona performed a beautiful sold out show in one of the most important jazz clubs in the world, the "Blue Note" Tokyo. On May 28, 2011, on the occasion of the Wind Music Awards held at the Arena di Verona, presents his new single "Maybe", a song which he duets with Danny Diaz, one of the most important artists of the jazz scene in Hong Kong. On 18 October 2011, Simona Molinari released the third album "Tua", with a very special guests, the internationally renowned artists such as Danny Diaz, pianist Dado Moroni and Peter Cincotti, jazz musician in New York with whom she duetted on the hit radio "Looking For You" (Alone I go to the city) and months after its publication still leading in the ranking of best-selling singles of the jazz category of iTunes.
