Singer, actress, writer, television personality: Arisa's artistic path branches out in many directions, all illuminated by her multifaceted talent. Arisa undoubtedly possesses one of the most beautiful voices among all Italian singers, with the capacity to move even the most demanding listeners. Born Rosalba Pippa on August 20, 1982, in Genoa, she grew up in the family home in Pignola, a small town a few kilometers from Potenza. Music is in her DNA: she was only four years old when she participated in her first competition, singing Gianni Morandi’s “Fatti mandare dalla mamma,” embarking on a long journey that would lead her, in 2007, to win a scholarship as a singer at the CET (the music school directed by the well-known Italian lyricist Mogol), where she met singer-songwriter Giuseppe Anastasi, with whom she began a fruitful artistic collaboration. Success at “SanremoLab” in 2008 brought her to the stage of the Teatro Ariston, in the New Artists category at the 2009 Sanremo Music Festival. It was an extraordinary debut. Arisa won with the song “Sincerità” and captivated even the most discerning listeners: she won the Mia Martini Critics' Award and the Assomusica Casa Sanremo Award for having established an immediate connection with the public (“Sincerità” was at the top of the iTunes chart even before the end of the Sanremo Festival). The song remained at the top of the singles chart for six consecutive weeks, projecting her debut album “Sincerità” into the Top 5 of the album charts.
